MaxVMG has been integral to the process of advising the existing organisers Hess Oil on how to manage this historical sailing regatta going forwards to ensure it's ongoing success as well as to up the standard of delivery and competitiveness for all participants.
After much consideration, 2009 saw Hamble based Britannia Events take over the reigns as they are one of the most experienced industry regatta organisers. 13 teams took to the water for two days of closely fought racing with an overnight stay and bbq in Cowes on the Saturday night.
